Just 10 Days to Go – Martin Schulz Campaign Update

The week ahead:

This week, Martin Schulz will visit Reze France (12 May) and Bretagne (13 May), Verona and Trieste Italy (14 May) participate in the final candidate debate in Brussels (15 May), visit Lorraine France (16 May) and Umea Sweden (17 May) on his European campaign tour.

Martin Schulz was in Brussels on 7th of May to launch his policy programme in front of over 60 journalists from across Europe. In case you missed it you can find the video from the conference here and the transcript here.

Over the last week Schulz's tour also brought him to Piambino and Florence, Italy, Valletta Malta and Malaga Spain.

Since being nominated as PES common candidate in Rome on 1 March 2014, Martin Schulz has taken his campaign for the Presidency of the European Commission all over Europe. By the time the last votes are cast on 25 May, he will have visited 24 countries and many European towns and cities.

Schulz is also campaigning online to reach as many voters as possible, and leads his rivals in the online race with over 200,000 combined followers and supporters across his Twitter and Facebook profiles. In the last week alone, Schulz has reached over 8 million people via these two channels.
