European wheel of fortune in Brussels

Spin the wheel of fortune at place St-Catherine in Brussels and find out if you too want a more social Europe.

On Europe-day, Friday 9th of May, the Belgian socialists party sp.a will set up a giant wheel of fortune on place St-Catherine. Everyone can take a spin at our fortunate wheel. 28 eight countries, representing 28 differences, will give you insights in why certains things need to change in Europe. Which countries have a minimum wage, and which don't? How high is the youth unemployment in Greece? Do you know which country has the highest tax avoidance? What percentage of energy is renewable in Belgium? What is the use of plastic bags in the different member states? Spin the wheel and find out.

Our Belgian MEPS, European candidates and many many activists will be there to tell you why Europe needs to become more social. To have a minimum wage or not should not be a matter of fortune. That is why we want a European minimum wage. That is why we want a European approach to tackle the youth unemployment.

On that day our new website will be launched on which you can do the test. Find out if you are in favor of a more social Europe.

We welcome you at noon and hope to see you all there! Our colleagues from The Netherlands will pass by with their bycicles on their way to Breda. They will cycle from the European Parliament in Brussels to Breda to fight the youth unemployment, since we are in this together for jobs! Samen voor werk!

The sp.a activist team!
