Jeppe Kofod

Jeppe Kofod was born on 14 March 1974 in Copenhagen. He has a BA in social science from Roskilde University. In 2006-2007 he was a Fulbright Fellow, having completed his Master of Public Administration at the Harvard University.

He worked as a teacher between 1993 and 1996 and in the following years he was a project coordinator in the international division of the Social Democratic party.

Since 1998 Mr. Kofod is a Member of the Folketinget (Danish Parliament), where he serves as foreign affairs’ spokesperson and chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee. He is also the vice-president of the Danish delegation to the OSCE's Parliamentary Assembly as well vice-president of the Association of European Parliamentarians for Africa (AWEPA).

Jeppe Kofod is a regular contributor to the Danish publications “Nye vinde, nye veje” (New Winds, New Ways) and “Atlantiske afstande” (Atlantic Distances).
