Rovana is president of the women section of the PSD and Vice President of the Party since 2005. Rovana is a committed Progressive feminist. She is particularly involved in promoting equal representation of women and men in decision-making in general and more particularly in politics. Rovana strongly hopes that the Romanian society is ready to have a woman as President in 2014, but in the same time she finds that Romania is still a misogynistic society. She is in favour of financial incentives for parties which have as many female candidates as male.
